I don't believe they dropped it, but rather landed the plane with the kegs still attached. OTH, maybe they lost a few of the kegs because they exploded when at a high altitude?Yeah...um...doesn't dropped beer fizz explosively when opened? Seems like fratricide to me.
"Ma'am, I sorry to report that your husband died in action opening a keg of airlifted beer..."

It's very difficult to say. We have to remember that this picture was taken after a lot of work had already been done at the scene to access and remove the crew, deal with any fire or other dangers, and stabilize the situation. In doing so, the aircraft is likely in a very different position than it was at and after impact. Notice the severe damage to the wing that is hanging out in the air -- clearly it impacted the building at some point. We also don't know the direction the plane was coming from when it impacted -- I suspect it might have been coming roughly toward the camera and hit the top of the building, perhaps near the edge. It's also possible that the pilot was maneuvering and banked pretty steeply trying to avoid obstacles (not necessarily the best course of action, but something that would be hard to avoid doing anyway). One possibility is that the aircraft was bank such that the starboard wind struck the roof of the building and the aircraft flipped over as it penetrated the roof and started coming out the side.Bizzare... I thought at first it hit the building and flipped onto its back. There is no prop and minimal nacelle damage?! How did it get like that without flying inverted? Anyone living through that has an angel on their shoulder.
I read somewhere that airplane food has a bland, insipid taste mainly because of how our brains process the aircraft's noise and somehow interferes with our sense of taste... I have noise cancelling earphones and a while ago I took them with me on a flight, just to test that theory... sure enough, the food tasted better when I activated the suckers!Everyone always complained about airline food but it was better than a pack of pretzels (nuts a no-no now) or a $10 sandwich. I'm a big guy 6'2" and the wife got me a seat up by the front bulkhead that was supposed to have free drinks in addition to the extra legroom and it was a long way from Seattle to Atlanta. But the damn steward cut me off after 2 drinks. He said he'd be back but never showed up. Sorry rascal...
