Not quite. The ratio of a flat section (brass in appearance) of the swivel base to the total length of swivel is 1:5, those on eBay (I was actually scrolling the same section !) is 1:3; likely for later, smaller size models. I will keep scrolling. Thanks, anyway.

 

Well, if I won't find the one with a longer base, I will buy the one from eBay and try to replace the telescopic section. Would an extra inch (or so) introduce ANY difference in reception?
