From battery to solar cells - drone

Hey everybody! Is there any way to determine the current consumption of a drone, when its battery (Li-ion battery) rating is 500mAh 3.7V and when the power consumed 70%, it can no longer sustain the flight.
From full charged drop to 30% the power takes about 7~9minutes.

Mine intention is to substitute the battery by using solar cells.
thanks for your time.

Take average drone current = I Amps, flight time = 8 mins.
So, I x 8/60 Ah = 0.7 x 0.5 Ah.
Hence I = 0.7 x 0.5 x 60/8 = 2.6 Amps.

Thanks for the worked out.

However this current is the total consumption in 8min when coming to a selection of solar cells, how do I pick the suitable wattage of cells in order to supply the drone?

Should I base on 3.7V x 2.6A ~10W cells? Any suggestion?

Thanks
