The forum software doesn't work like Facebook, as far as I know you won't get a notification if you're "tagged" in a post. All it is is a link to that member's profile.

Nevermind, I found it!

 

Electro-Tech-Online works differently than AllAboutCircuits. ETO doesn't notify you if you're tagged (at least not last I checked). AAC does. Very interesting....
