I'm UK based and I am trying to get hold of some FLEDs to use on some solar bots but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. The only ones on EBAY are coloured ones, are they okay to use?

Typo, sorry.

Yes, I meant flashing LED. The one they are using in the circuit is white so I am just assuming that is what you need. I have no idea myself, I am just following the build. :)

I would guess if there was any difference between a flashing white LED and a flashing red one (for example) would be the forward voltage drop of the LED itself, but I expect the internal flashing circuitry would take care of that. Just check the datasheet and make sure it fits your requirements.

And here I thought you meant Flexible Light Emitting Diode.

I think if you would describe what you really want instead of relying on ambiguous abbreviations, it would help us help you. Have you looked at Hobby King? Please give more details about the number of LED's you want to drive, flash rate, colors, and so forth.
