For an electronics project that will experience mechanical shock, I would like to interconnect two potted boards with a removable connector, e.g. pin and socket. I would need the pins to have a bend or crimp in them so that they could flex and not transmit the shock between the boards. Can anyone suggest a possibility? I could always use a straight board header and bend the pins myself, I suppose.

 

Can you use ribbon cable between boards? If so a IDC header on each ?

Possibly, but I was hoping to minimize the number of interconnects.
