Hi.
Is there a way to make a 3V - 5mW laser pointer module to flash 1 second on, 5 seconds off without a timer IC ?
I think I saw a very simple square wave switching circuit somewhere with a mosfet and RC for timing... Do you know how it works ?

Inserting in series a flashing led does not allow period control.
