ok so im using an 8 pin 10f200 and a shina made programmer that supports it.

first I have to read the data chip to figure out what each pin does?
Then ounce that is figured out I start building the circuit.
How do I figure out what components to use?

vss is ground
vdd is power wish im using 1.5v so i would prolly have to have an amp chip.

gpo will be the main servo power source.
GP1 will be the secondairy power to servo which controls the mode switching?

does this sound right or do i need to read more books?

You are going to need 2 - 5.5V for the PIC and the servo probably requires 4 - 6V (best to check that), so probably best to get a supply of around 4-5.5V for both.
You can't power the servo (red wire) straight from the PIC - it requires much more current than the PIC can survive. The control wire of the servo can be directly connected to the PIC.

understood so the servo has to be power directly to the bat?
and the remote wire to the PIC whish will pulse.

do you know anything about the pulse width of a servo?

What servo is it? Do you have a model # or spec sheet?

To boost your input voltage have a look at digikey or any other electronics distributor and look for "PMIC - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Controllers".

These require very few external components.
