The PWM 3846 has 1A totem driver capability. My 12V source going through 33R resisters yields around .4A. Well below half, but many still add an additional driver IC, usually 2.0A or so, even if their currents are ok. So the trade off of additional parts and increased response must be worth something, yet many still do it. Any additional feedback or guidelines to consider?

Deciding on whether or not to keep the TC4427 driver, or just use the 3856 PWM outputs. This is a push pull set up.
