Fast driving of inductive load

Hi,

I would like to obtain a stable 100mAp-p current in an inductor (680uH) driven with a sine wave of 20Vp-p between 1-10 MHz.
Could anyone suggest any ideas for an amplifier/ voltage to current converter design that would allow me to achieve something like this? Any information leading on the wright track would be much appreciated.

The circuit on the right-hand side of the schematic below might give you an idea. It is a gated constant current source driving an parallel tuned resonant circuit. The resulting current waveform is a sine wave, providing the resonant circuit has a decent Q.

Unless I'm missing something, sadly, it's not going to happen :(. To drive 100mA p-p through 680uH at even 1MHz requires over 400V p-p.
