Congrats. That's a real and simple beauty, #12. In fact, I think I'll be building one for myself, if you don't mind. I'll post pics when I'm done. See if it compares to yours. Thanks for sharing!

This is my answer to, "The gym is closed". It's not as convenient, but I can get my heart rate up and keep a few muscles exercised. This being winter in Florida, I also exercise by coating the shed roof with sealer on a 4 inch paint roller and using a 28 foot ladder to cut dead branches off my back yard tree. Scaffolds, ladders, and a cheap, fake, gym machine keep this 69 year old from being the same shape as a couch potato.

I wish I could run, but that doesn't work with an artificial leg. It mostly causes weeping sores. That's why I built an upper body exercise jig. The good side is that 25 years on crutches has developed my arms and chest into a machine that can support aerobic exercise levels without using any leg muscles. (I hope nobody else discovers this through personal experience.)

Best wishes to y'all! Any exercise is better than nothing. You don't have to look like Ahnold. You just have to avoid getting as weak as a bowl of spaghetti.

I actually configured a pull-up bar in a doorway years ago, but I don't quite understand the lower ones.
The lower notches are for your imagination, or weaker people. Can't do a regular pull up? Sit down on your butt and lift less weight. Can't do regular push ups? Lean into a higher position bar and fake it until you get stronger.
