I bet he we all muscle and had very little body fat...
Right now my BMI is 23.6 and holding for the last 5 months, I don't diet either while no sugar, fried food, some carbs, no fruit, no diary. Fish, chicken, turkey on the menu, once in a while Prosciutto but very small amounts what I can fit in the palm of my hand same with Chicken fish or Turkey.

As I drift off topic. To this day I remember a guy in Marine Corps boot camp. They gave you some gear and tossed you into a pool. You had to thread water or simply stay afloat for I think it was 45 min. WE has this guy named McCollough who would immediately sink. The kid had the buoyancy of a rock. He would go verticle, sink and could literally walk the bottom till they used a long pole with a hook and would yank him out. God knows he tried. :) Some people simply don't float.

When I was in Navy boot camp they briefed us about the pool test and they made a joke about black people not being able to float. They weren't exactly wrong. Most of the guys in our division who couldn't float, were black. I guess black people are more often lean.

I have heard that and interestingly enough this was a black kid. He gave 110% but the poor kid just could not adjust to that pool.

A good egg will sink,
Increase the salinity of the water. One brine called for stirring in salt till you float an egg.

Long story short ... after the Dolly Varden trout that was brined in that mix was distributed at the station bar [think a four door upright cooler] where three fourths of the doors held beer. Twenty minutes after the fish was delivered, they had to restock the cooler so the movie viewers could have a beer.

5 lbs of salt to one gallon of water ... floats an egg. You can pass that to your bar owning friends.

I can float in the Great Salt Lake, but the last time the time I did I was 14 and I wasn't the only thing floating. I quickly got out and showered when a Turd floated past me:eek:
