Has Anyone ever used a GOTECH 3.5 inch floppy drive emulator for a TEKTRONIX 370A ?

I have a problem with my Tek 370A.
The floppy drive is turning but can not retrieve or save data to the disk drive. I've tried to format the disks in the drive but only get failures.
The drive is unique and was only made for Tektronix. I've read online that people are using the GOTEK SFR1M44-U100 USB Emulator
as a replacement drive . Any experiences ?
