Equalizer Circuit Offset

Hi All,

So I've been playing around with equalizers and amplifiers, and while adding the two together I noticed I was getting a huge offset at the output of my amplifier, it is a feedback amplifier by the way. Any who I thought hey could be the input impedance of the amp so I increased it and voila problem solved. Could anybody explain why this worked, if schematics are needed let me know the input of the circuit is a BJT long tail pair.

Thanks

So you increased the input impedance of the LTP? That'll pretty much always improve DC offset to some extent...it prevents the negative feedback resistor from dropping part of the DC being fed back to the diff amp.

How big is a "huge offset?"
