Hello,
I am building a pneumatic suspension system, I have decided to control it with solenoid valve. My solenoid valve is 5/3 Solenoid Valve, 24V DC, 120mA and 4.8W power
I am in confusion of how to select MOSFET to energise the solenoid valve, one of my friend tried to energise with 20V Adapter, But the spool never moved, Can you help me in selecting the MOSFET for my project since I m new to electronics ?

 

You need a 24V psu@500mA minimum, any N-type mosfet like IRF540 /510, will do. Draw a circuit diagram of what you want.
