Does anyone know where I can buy these? or Is there anyone out there who can make these for me? I would like 4 of them made.
This is an old elevator time delay relay looks like home made because no markings or brand. The elevator was made made by Elevator Industries of Sacramento, CA. This elevator was installed in 1976. one side are just the wire and board and the other side has all the resistors, capacitors and what not. It is an 8 pin Octal. See pics. Many Thanks!!!

rathan then repairing or rebuilding something this old and in such small volume i would consider replacing it with timer module that is readily available today. products like H3CR from Omron will likely be a good choice. they are available for different voltages and have mounting option that includes octal base.

As has been pointed out in post#3, if you need more then it IS just a simple timer and there are plenty around with an octal base, but you will likely need to rewire the elevator octal socket to match the new units' pinout.

Thank you, I am in panic mode LOL, so we substituted with a FREEDOM Brand but the elevator is closing too fast like 1 sec even when we set it for 20 seconds. Here is the elevator diagram - the pins are totally off.

Hi boostbuck, I replied with the diagram. The Elevator wires only connect to 4 & 5 and 7 & 8. #7 to what - it doesn't make sense.

If you go with a off the shelf timer the timer would need to be 120 VDC not a AC one the one you have posted would work.

Could you take a reading at 7 and 8

Ok, I missed your post saying that you had tried those - it seems you have purchased a faulty Freedom replacement.

My only suggestions then are that you either get the ones you have repaired as they are usually very simple devices internally, or look as rewiring the panel to use modern replacements.

Many Thanks for you advise.... is there a place I can go to send them what I want replicated? because tech have no idea how to rewire.

Someone competent at electronic repair - used to be TV or Radio repair, but that sort of person is getting thin on the ground these days. There was a guy up the coast from me who advertised those services and he ended up getting stuff from all over Australia to fix.

If you posted where in the world you live you might find someone on here can advise you who might help.

What you're having problems with is the door closing time. The drawing is not that great. The timer

Don't look to have relay inside The freedom has a relay plus timer pin 7 and 2 start it to time the outputs

Your timer seems to be on 7 and 8 I would recap what you have probably bad cap you could open them up take better pictures

These are ALLEN BRADLEY > 700-HT12AZ24 use the 7 and 2 pin for coil

But yours are 7 and 8 I've never used one with the coil on those pins I use lots of timer relays

I would fix what you have it's made for you application

Find someone who can reverse engineer the board and its function. Then make new boards from a new design.

The first step would be to take a unit apart and post sharp photos of both sides of the board.
Make notes of the pin connections.

cover is held by just two screws. remove cover and take good pictures of front and back of the PCB as well as few additional angles to show component values as well as top and bottom of the octal plug (it is keyed) and how wires are routed from board to plug.
