Hi All
I need to simulate an electrical system in which there is a source generating a high current (few kA) in few ns flowing into one electrical path (a simple LCR circuit in series) connected in one point (quite close to the current source) with the ground. The ground is a real one (not ideal) so I can suppose there is some small amount of current that can still flow around the circuit before to go into the ground or maybe there is a small reflection of the current signal on the ground like as happen for mismatched cables..
I suppose I can simulate the grounding with a very low resistance but I am not sure that really all the current will flow immediately in the earth for what I said. Do you have any suggestions ? Is the problem such trivial: all the current flow immediately in the ground and that's all? Or it can be done some more consideration?
Cheers
