Dear All;

Can any one tell me any standard for a cable/conduit to be bottom entry. i mean i have a panel, so i want the cables to enter from bottom of the panel. i need any standard either in NEC or some other.

There's a lot missing from your description. I had a panel two, but tit was low voltage stuff that in one case had to pass through a firewall.
Lost of cables.

The choice of conduit depends on location. Hazardous, outdoor, etc.

Thanks got your logic, so means as per zone we have to decide where shall be the conduit entry. means there is no specific standard or code for it.

What kind of panel? MCC panel/Control panel/Electrical panel?
Is that panel designed to have bottom entry already?
Are there knockouts to allow bottom entry?

However you need to know each and every standard that applies to your specific local/installation..
We can't just list out any standard..
If you do not know what standards apply then you should not be performing any work at that location until YOU can determine the applicable standards..

Talk to the Engineer in charge of that installation..
This is not something you search for on the internet..
