Good at 0xFF
Bad at 0x00

Does anyone know why I would get the above error message?

It's happening when I try and program my PIC16F88. What are the possible causes?

 

What are you using to program it?

 

QEL Micropro for the software, and a K128 USB Programmer.

I can put a brand new PIC in the programmer, program it and it will program fine but give the above error message at the end. If I then try to re-program the same PIC the programmer says it doesnt recognise it

 

The programmer may not support the EEPROM.
