Supply voltage, anywhere from 6 to 9vdc, 9vdc preferred.
I am looking for a schematic for a circuit that creates a Sawtooth Wave Form, whos waveform is driven by a LED Emitter Detector combo.
Is this possible?
I would prefer if this could be designed using I.Cs/ transistors, etc., rather than microprocessors.
Thank you in advance, for your help

EDIT, I realize that this is not enough info, Im would like to use a fingertip ecg sensor that consists of an infared led, and matched sensor, that convets the sensed heart beat into a sawtooth wave, sorry about that!

What is the output of Led interface?
Frequency, duty, voltage level? Is it analog or digital? Does it even output square wave?
Best is to draw a schematic and waveforms to let us understand.

Thank you for your reply, but I do not actually have a schematic for this, I I am requesting a schematic.
This should all be analogue.
