Driving Static LCDs with the MSP430

Hi,

I'm looking to drive a 3-digit, 7-segment LCD display with the MSP430's built in LCD driver. The chip will provide the oscillating voltage a need to run display. I want to use a static display also, meaning no multiplexing i.e. one segment, one pin. My problem is that I can't find an LCD that will run on 3.3V AC, I can only find 5V AC. Is there an easy solution to this since I have access to a 5V DC rail in my design. (I'm think a regulator or a transistor switch)
