Driving electromagnet coil with H-bridge

Hi everybody,

I am breaking my head around subject how to make electromagnet coil much stronger and reversible in same time.
It would ideally run on 230 Volts DC.
Why? well just one simple full-bridge rectifier and you are good to go.
My problem is that I can not find schematic for H-bridge driver which runs on such high voltage.
I already do have code for arduino which can drive it.
Attached schematic is just conceptual idea and nothing more.
Please help :)

Thanks for such quick response guys.

I am afraid that classic approach is not good idea ( like motor driver)

Transistors, mosfets or IGBT*s are to be used as simple on-of switches which would short big capacitors and with that achieve single but strong electromagnetic impulse in a coli.
So i do not need pwm for opening them since it must be instantly opened and closed.
My main concern is blow back from electromagnetic coil after switching of.
Speed would not be greater from 50 hz per second (might be not bigger from 30 hz).

Any suggestions?

Blow back, you mean Back Emf! then i suggest if your going to use 230VDC from the mains, then you need high voltage transistors like BU508D and i would use optocouplers like 4N35 to isolate it from your microcontroller.
