Have a garden seat for this year. The old knees are gonna like it being able to sit and move around without standing too much.


Needs a soft cushion for the brain to sit on. Now to start with the main garden.

Needs a little cleanup from the winter dumping of broken stuff. We have spring cherry blossom snow on the ground.

It's going to be nice having the rolling seat while working back there.

Nice, waiting for the rain to stop for at least a few days so the soil can drain before clean up the garden and busting up the ground for planting. The Honda mini rototiller needs an overhaul (clean up the fuel system and change the oil) from winter storage.
Looks like that will be the day job.

You are my hero. A new spark plug and fresh real high octane gas is usually all it takes. A nice
Blast of starter fluid also helps to fire it up.

 

This years crops.

 

 

Only a couple harvested so far this season. Oxheart variety. Weeds took over
Plums, about 300. Peaches, just a dozen. Pears not yet. Garlic not yet.

 

 

Total failure with pears this year. Over 300 last summer; all fell immature from the tree this year: zero.
Mulberries, OK. Garlic OK. Lettuces OK. Daikon, bad. Parsley OK. Culantro OK. Cilantro failed. Excessive weeds. Chopped down a 4 feet diameter huge tree before falls on the house. Solar panels got happier.

Fracas lurking on my side. Pear, plum, apple and peach flowers all fallen at a frost. Onions, garlic, tomatoes still well. No artichokes this year.
