Does amperage stacks?

I am working on a big project of mine and I am wondering if it is possible to stack amperage from to current generating source. I am not talking of batteries here. How would my amperage behave if i was pushing 15 amp in 1 wire and 50 amp in a second one and have them meet properly to connect them in order that both current flow through the same wire?

Would the result be 15 + 50 = 65 amp or would the final current be 50 amp?

Once I have this figured out I can proceed to fabricate my first prototype So please be as specific as possible if its more complicated I am thirsty for details.

Welcome to AAC!

Putting current sources in parallel will add current capacities; but voltages must be matched. Putting them in series will give you the capacity of the lowest source.
