So this is what happened: I ordered a couple of PT1000s from Digikey. Due to packing error they sent me a couple of dozens. I reported, naturally, but they replied that I may keep those.
However, I will *never* use that much PT1000s so maybe you have a non-commercial project that requires "a lot" of PT1000s, but your budget is very tight just to buy them. Send me a PM because it makes no sense to store them for nothing and someone throws them away after I die. Europe only.

I made that mistake once. I ordered something that was packaged in lots of 5.
So I ordered 5 and ended up with 25.

 

It happens - although this time this was packaging/shipment error. I only paid what I ordered. That's why I am donating extra parts to another hobbyist.
