hi, i am new to this forum.
i am doing a logic assignment. One of the question asked was; 'Enable the temperature sensor by a digital switch such that it reads positive values of temperature'.

Can i use the temperature switch described here?

That would not satisfy the requirement. What particular temperature sensor is to be used? If it's like an LM35, then a FET used as a switch would do.

The type of temperature sensor was not specified in the question but it was supposed to monitor temperature from 100degC to 500degC.

The particular temperature sensor might have a lot of bearing on the solution to the problem.
