Hello,

Again, how do you get a gain of 2?
You want an output volts of 2.2 Volts with an input voltage of 0.2 Volts.
What is the gain factor between 0.2 Volts and 2.2 Volts ?

Yes, The resistor values are correct.
What will happen to the offset of 0.05 Volts at the input?
What offset will we see at the output?

Thanks. I got excited that i did it and was happy going to eat a little sitting from 8 am trying to do it :) But not yet done.

I think you are done with first part but please check.
Input signal 0.2V x 11 =2.2V using 10k and 100k resistors. This you said.
Input offset 0.05 x 11 = ? V (using 10k and 100k resistors.)

Thanks Ron. Please guide me what i need to do next and if i missing anything in the first part? Now i know that Gain=Vout/Vin=1+Rf/Rn. For if Vout is 2.2 V and Vin is 0.2V then Gain will be 11. Then if use 10 kohm Resistor in the equation i will get Rf=100 kohm. I don't know what to do with that 0.5 offset.

Second part of problem. Almost the same thing.
Part A is to get the gain right.
Input is 0.2V signal and output needs to be 1.14V.
Exactly what you did before. Gain is what? 1.14V/0.2=????
What resistor to use for R2 (Rf) ????

1) If you pull up on the (+) input the output goes up.
2) If you pull up on the (-) input the output goes down.

The input signal has 0.05V offset. It is moved up by 0.05V and we want to remove that. There are many ways to do this but one is to use comment 2) above. Connect a very large value resistor from (-) to+5V.
Think about a voltage divider made of R3 and R1. Top is +5V supply and center point is (-) input of amp.
R3 is new.
What value of R3 will give you 0.05V?
