I want to derive the eq for internal path length best case:
[tex]path_{best} = h-2[/tex]
i.e path (subscript: best) = h-2
They have started from
[tex]\sum_{i=1}^{h-1} i*2^i[/tex]
i.e Summation(i=1 to h-1) i * 2i
Some body please guide me.
