Hi there I have been doing DC motor controll using delays and this is what I dont understand.

The teacher said that by using delays the motor will change speed.
We are using DC pulses, now is the pulse width varying or is it the time taken between each pulse which is varying.
If anyone can help me very quickly i will be truly gratefull
Thanks

The usual way is to vary the pulse width while keeping the pulse period constant. But keeping the pulse width constant and varying the time between pulses, will also work.

The main thing is that the ratio of ON times to OFF times (pulse and no-pulse) is what determines the motor speed.
