A series LC resonant circuit will draw the most current from its driving oscillator at resonance. Impedance nearing zero. Voltage collapses.

But what about the current in the coil alone ? Is it also at its peak ? Being in series, am inclined to a yes. Can you confirm, please ?

Any components in series will all be carrying the same current, so if the current is at its peak, both the capacitor and inductor currents will be at their peak.
