Actually, they did a play on 'which' vs 'witch' in the movie "Practical Magic". The detective and one of the sisters are talking about belladonna and the detective says, "Some people also use it as a poison." The sister responds with, "Which people?" to which the detective laughs and counters with, "Witch people."
Ha ha, yes and i have heard the remark in different places, "Which witch".
Which witch watched the winch

I am hearing news that there is more evidence that the virus came out of the Chinese lab, although they are not yet able to disclose that info due to security. We just have to wait to find out.
However, it seems likely that it did come out of China one way or another and what is worse is that they tried to cover it up and waited much much longer than the requirement to report any problem like that within 24 hours, they could have waited as long as 30 days. A good indicator is that they would not let planes fly out of Wuhan that went to another part of China but they did let planes fly out of Wuhan that went to other parts of the world, and that was long before they announced the virus was out and capable of spreading. The WHO was not of any help either and so it is now being talked about that the WHO is in the Chinese pockets.

Actually a forced-air/vacuum pneumatic tube is not a chute. A chute is something that guides an object downward as it falls by gravity. Also could be a parachute as it guides a fall by gravity.

“It’s very shocking because two or three weeks ago we were getting calls daily wondering how we were handling the spike in deaths,” said Rob Goff, executive director of the Washington State Funeral Directors Association. “And we just weren’t seeing the deaths [that were] being predicted.”

Preliminary state data analyzed by The Seattle Times shows that deaths this year through the end of March hovered below what was reported during the same period in 2019. The trend was not uniform across all counties, as several had increases in deaths from quarter to quarter, with Yakima and Benton counties at the top. Final death data from DOH won’t be available for months.

“We know there is a lag in deaths reported to DOH, but given what we are seeing, we do not see indications of a large increase in overall deaths compared to 2019,” DOH said in a statement to The Seattle Times.

I've survived Fire Ants, Polio, Vampire Bats, Ebola, Measles, Mumps, Africanized Honeybees, Encephalitis, Meningitis, HIV, H1N1, SARS, CV19, and now Murder Wasps but somehow I still don't feel invincible for some reason.

Could it be because Time is eventually going to kill us all?

Replacement for beer?
https://www.odditycentral.com/foods/japanese-vodka-made-from-fermented-giant-hornets.html
According to their reports, fermented wasp shouchuu has an unappetizing muddy-brown color and smells a bit like rotting flesh. If you’re wondering about the taste of this unusual drink, it’s apparently a lot like that of regular shouchuu, but with a salty aftertaste that comes from the wasps poison. In conclusion, it looks disgusting, it stinks and it tastes really bad, so why would anyone want to drink this home-made fermented hornet brew? Well, for the health-related benefits, of course. The venom-infused liquor is said to make the skin more beautiful, boost recovery from fatigue and prevent “lifestyle disease” (whatever that is).

Whenever some asks me what it's like to be a diabetic, I tell them that I suffer form an incurable, progressive, fatal disease. If I can slow the rate of progression so that something else kills me first, I win -- though, truth be told, I can't say I'm doing a very good job of it.

That with a chaser of Cobra Head will fix you right up.
Yes, baby.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."

Oh sorry to hear that. One of my neighbors has type II and he is always talking about dying. He watches his diet better now and goes to the doc at least once every few months. He also has some sort of patch for testing the blood rather than sticking his finger all the time like he used to do.
From what i read exercise and healthy eating is supposed to help a lot.

Oh, it does. It helps a LOT. It's just that I am a serious sugar addict and have never gotten a handle on it for more than a few months at a time; when I'm on the wagon I do great, but like any addict, when I fall of the wagon I fall hard.

We all have our weaknesses, Bahn ... some of those weaknesses are quite visible, and some are not ... virtually all of us spend our lives fighting at least one demon.

Yep, it's part and parcel of the human condition. We do what we can and in the end we are all dead.
