They don't effectively work to prevent the spread of the virus to the masked user on the street, they work to prevent the spreading of other diseases from the doctor or nurse to a sick patient with the virus.

This week's stock market drops have nothing to do with the corona virus. The market has been seriously over-valued and it's a glorified Ponzie Scheme that's ready to collapse.

The plant personnel had to be respirator "fit-tested" by the safety department every couple of years. Not only did the have to remove from the storage container and don the respirator for a timed test, but the safety guys would also pop a canister of nasty smelling stuff to see who was, in fact, wearing a snug respirator. The "office personnel" were exempt thank goodness.

 

Another benefit of face masks for some protection from the coronavirus is defeating facial recognition systems. Just add sunglasses for >99% protection. Then, walk with a limp to defeat gait detection.

So far I am partially right. China knew that the virus was spreading faster than it was, mislead W.H.O. to how many there were put other countries at risk. Did not give W.H.O. all the information it asked for and made them lie about it while they were in China.
Told you China done it on purpose. They may not have made it but they did nothing to stop it.
