I know how to, I just took a mandatory refresher at work. One of my children is in a severely affected area. They have been told that most infections in those using N95 masks are not from failure of the mask, but from failure to follow sterile procedures when removing the mask. That is, every doctor knows how to remove gloves aseptically. Do they know how to remove a mask aseptically? Do you?
N95 means 95% removal of 0.3µ particles, 3µ. Those are vastly larger than the virus but the point is to catch aerosol droplets and such, not free-floating virus. The N95 mask only filters to 3 microns and the Hepa filters down to 1 micron. The virus is less than 3 microns in size.
My first time in Japan I noticed the toilet paper was more like wax paper than what I had become accustomed to. That was around maybe 1971 and I never gave it another thought till now. That's better than the shiny freezer wrap used in the UK.
Don't forget eating beef.N95 means 95% removal of 0.3µ particles, 3µ. Those are vastly larger than the virus but the point is to catch aerosol droplets and such, not free-floating virus.
Like any PPE, it's not absolute protection. It's about skewing the odds, and the masks appear to do that. So does staying hydrated, getting exercise in the sun, and taking a daily multivitamin.
Eating beef??Don't forget eating beef.![]()
So what you are saying is my T-Shirt and blue jeans are not adequate? I don't have any mask and let's face it trying to buy a mask now is a fruitless endeavor. Ohio is talking about having to wear something out in public so I have a few bandannas I figure I can put Velcro on. I have no reason to be out and about very much anyway. My days for clean rooms and mask ended about 7 years ago. My g outings are an occasional trip to the pharmacy or super market. Thinking I now sort of fall in with the average.N95 means 95% removal of 0.3µ particles, 3µ. Those are vastly larger than the virus but the point is to catch aerosol droplets and such, not free-floating virus.

Or Lobster.Eating beef??

It’s wicked cheap now. $5.99 a pound.
Some of us quit caring what day of the week it is long before this came along. I once asked my daughter what day of the week it was to which she asked me who I had breakfast with that day? If I really worried about it I mouse over the date time on my screen and it tells me the day of the week.Of course, one cannot tell what day of the week it is, being that we’re in home all the time.

I can kinda keep up with what month, what day? Who cares, I don't have to get up to go to work so what's the point!Of course, one cannot tell what day of the week it is, being that we’re in home all the time.
