Yeah, our Md says to get one to help with her Videovisists. New gadget for the meds locker. Thermometer, Blood Pressure Cuff, Blood Sugar kit, now also an Oximeter. I kinda like the idea of not having to wait in her office to see her, now wait at home for her to call us. New Wave Medicine...

My niece who is a Child and Family Psychiatrist is also practicing from her bedroom these days by televisits.
I have one on order for the meds locker.

So you would be OK then, with manufactures slowing down production to create a higher price for things? That is the other side of this.
That only works if you have a cartel, like OPEC, and even that can fall apart. Unless you're selling at a loss, you'll always be better off selling more units.

Applauding screw-ups in the fog of chaos? Not me. Normal business dictates that you fill an order if you can. You can't expect anyone to refuse customers until they are so-ordered by their management.

From the lack of TP, it seems they have already learned one hygiene habit.
That appears to be the only one they knew to begin with.

It makes you wonder: How many people have learned about a TP shortage the hard way, to horde it at the first hint of a crisis? I can affirm that I never did. Charmed life, I guess.

People who lived through a toilet paper shortage will not hoard it. They know what to do. They also know there are worst shortages than toilet paper. The hoarders are just embarassing themselves.

I take so many drugs already. And all have side-effects. What I don't need is another drug to add to the cocktail. Gimme a vaccine...

Edit: 8 in the AM, 6 in the PM, weekly injection and daily fluid dose of Lactulose to keep me from being full of caca. A truly bizzare assortment and all with side-effects. No, Please...

Massachusetts ordered several millions of masks. They were shipped through New York City, where they were confiscated by FEMA. Never made it to Massachusetts.

So, the New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, ordered 1.5M masks and sent the Patriots team aircraft to pick them up directly.

Good deal.

Looks like he really honed his Chinese negotiation skills at that place in Jupiter Florida.

Even New Yorkers don't like people from New York City.

Those arriving will then be subject to a 14-day quarantine, and will be checked on daily by law enforcement or health professionals. It remains to be seen if this will calm locals’ fears about New Yorkers spreading infection.

“You get a lot of people who are just plain scared who say: ‘Keep them out, keep them out,’” McLaughlin said.
