Hi,
First post on this forum, so forgive if i'm not familiar with some of the do's and dont's.
I have a Thunderbolt 2 to VGA connector which I wanted to convert to USB type C. I've very crassly sliced the connector open without thinking, which has led me to discover that both these structures are very different.

As you can see, the Thunderbolt 2 has 3 small cables and 3 cables consisting of 2 wires each. The USB C only has 4 connectors (it's a dumbed down version, normally it has more), 2 for power and 2 for data, based on the USB 1, 2 and 3 protocol.
I've watched this video, but can't seem to find and equivalent for thunderbolt 2 -> usb C.
Anyone has any idea?
Kind regards
