I need to detect and calculate the total number of coins entered using FPGA using VHDL. The output from the coin detector is as the pictures attached. Each type of coins generate a number of peaks which is around 130 mV amplitude. How do I amplify these pulses ? rs 10.jpg

Opamp as a dc amplifier. How much amplification do you need?

Looks as though some low-pass filtering might be beneficial too.

I need the peak around 3 to 5 V, I'm going to try the opamp and let you know.

Yes , I'll do that after the amplification to remove the noise.
