I have been reading about preemptive multitasking I don't have an idea of how the time is allocated to the task. Is each task takes an equal time or each task take time according to its priority? If we are trying to read multiple sensors How can we think like Preemptive multitasking

For preemptive system, the OS gives time to task depending its priority, in co-operative system task takes time.
