our power went out so i fired up the generator and forgot to turn the selector back to 110 volt from 240 for like 5 minutes. thank goodness it only fried a led light bulb, 2 surge protectors and a food saver vac sealer. I wont do that again. The vac sealer wasn't on when the 240 was on but it sounded like the motor was running slowly after the power came back on and of course smelled like an electrical problem. I love trying to fix stuff so I took the vac sealer apart. The only thing i found was what i think is a capacitor that burnt out( see the picture). Could someone tell me what id have to order to solder in? There is two of these,,the other one looks good but maybe i should replace them both.

yes it is capacitor as shown by silkscreen symbol and identification ("C3"). just replace it with same value. i would replace both but note that there will likely be more components that got damaged.

Thanks, its so cool people jump in to help with things. I thought about the possibility more things are damaged, though id give it try. It'll probably be hard to tell what else is bad. i know very little about this stuff, just really like messing with it.
