hii...I want to make a comparator which would set the
voltage in circuit to zero as soon as voltage iin circuit crosses
a threshold voltage..otherwise it remains the same..

Do you mean to switchoff when the battery goes empty ?

When you want the circuit to switchoff when a level is reached exchange the two comparator inputs.
