Yes, but you're probably not going to get them for 20 cents unless you buy thousands.

Why were you asking if you already knew? Took all of 30 seconds to search Digikey (but I knew a part number to search for): Shift Registers | Logic | Electronic Components Distributor DigiKey

I didn't already know. I was referred to that chip after i posted this thread. So I was going to delete this thread, but then i saw your reply.

I did search Digi, but i didn't know what the device is called, so i didn't know what to look for .

Someone might post other nice chips here.
