Can I back up for one moment really quick... why are the 3.3k and 3.4k in parallel, but the 2.2k and the 1.2k were added as a series?

Yes, feeling much more confident. I asked my instructor for help and all he did was send me the answer key... which didn't help me learn how to do it.
