Hi.
Have a couple of ATSC TVs with a RCA connector labeled "Coaxial" out.
What are they ? The manuals do not say a word.
If I remember well experimenting a long ago, that is NTSC video output directly from the tuner when the tuner is in NTSC mode. Can anyone confirm ?
By the way, is there any consumer TV with digital video output you know of ?

 

Most of the time the orange "Coaxial" out is the S/PDIF audio signal.

I have an older DVD-AUDIO 24 bit player that I use that signal to decode the output.
