I just joined so bear with me if i am in the wrong forum, and I'm not really sure how to describe this circuit.
A few years ago at a ham radio show a fellow had a bread board circuit that flashed a light bulb(?) without any obvious external power source. It consisted of a mica transmitting capacitor(s), an air variable capacitor, some coils and a handful of other components as I recall. I assumed it was charging the mica cap to a certain voltage with RF that would then discharge through the light bulb but I'm no EE by any stretch of the imagination. I'd like to build this circuit if someone here has knowledge of it or a similar one. If I knew what it was called I could probably find it by searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
