Can anyone help me with a circuit to reverse the ac motor for 10 sec. & stop for 3 sec. then forward the motor for 10 sec. & stop for 3 sec.

 

You need a circuit like a wiper delay using a 555 timer, and DPDT relay to reverse a single phase AC motor you need to reverse the brushes or field windings,

adjust the resistors R1, to set the 3 seconds, R3 to set 10 seconds.

If its a three phase motor,reverse any two phases.

Be specific on it's ratings. Voltage, horsepower. etc.

 

This is a washing machine motor which pcb board is fully damaged. I want to make a new circuit board that just spin the motor clockwise for 10 sec. & stop for 3 sec. then spin it anticlockwise for 10 sec. & stop for 3 sec.

 

What technology is the motor, 1ph split phase motor? Universal? Fischer 3 ph?
