Yes I have. It works as designed.
The LED should only come on if the voltage on the base of Q1 is below appx .6 volts.

I solder mine on prefer board now have hard time trouble shooting.
Do you use breadboard? If you do then can you share link what kind and where I get it? If not then what do you ise and share where I can get that?

You used 1/4 watt resistors all thru out?

 

Yes except the 60 resistor representing the LED.
I used a 56 ohm 1 watt.

What did you use as ground?

 

Ground on what?

 

On your bread board circuit

Ground on what?

On the actual breadboard circuit you built what you used as ground?

 

I used the BLUE bus strip for ground and the top RED bus strip for supply positive.

 

On those breadboard-strips "Common" is a more correct term than "ground". And " common Negative " is even better.
