Can you get a decent used DC power supply thats useful for under 50$?

Voltage range.
Current.
Constant Current/Limit.
Etc.

It was not much more than $50 new. In fact, if you are talking $US, then it would be available for under $50.

Mine has given me very good service. I use it most days as I design and build industrial control stuff. The only problem I had was a relay died in it, but that was easy to replace.

I have the same design @dendad poster. 30VDC 10A. I think it was about $60 new. the 5A one is 10-15 cheaper if your really that strapped for cash. Works well enough for what I do.

This is what I bought except it was free shipping... Ground terminal, current limiter, constant current and voltage. Only 5A/30V but never get anywhere near there, probably never over 1A/18V.

EDIT: Ooops that one does not have the US voltage selector switch. Make sure it handles your local voltage and has the correct plug.
