Between this, Tik Tok, and pot, today's yutes (< 35 y.o.) have no chance of growing into responsible functioning adults.
Gee, I remember my parents saying the same sort of thing about my generation. Certainly there are no responsible adult boomers. I am reading all the Agatha Christie mysteries and people were saying the same sort of thing in the 1920s.

And they were probably saying it back in Greek and Roman times. And, to some degree, it has very possibly been a valid observation in all those cases -- there's a reason that civilization is a self-defeating concept.

Years ago I read a collection of texts, some dated some centuries BC where philosophers complained somehow about youths and kids. My father did as well.

"Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise"

Best Gomer Pyle.
Actually, it's one thing that they got right in the article.
Can they really do that much damage with 15kW laser? A Trumpf sheet-metalwork laser cutter is much the same power, and that's operating quite slowly at point-blank range.
And 10p for a cup of tea? Seems expensive to me.
2.5p for a teabag (£27 for a bag of 1040)
1.2p for 45 seconds of electicity for a 3kW kettle at 32p/kWh
and
3.2p for 20ml of milk at 90p per pint.
That's less than 7p.

Actually, I didn't bother to read the article...most of the crap that comes up on my MSN news feed is click bait.
