I just clicked and it appeared. I looked at it and it is a 24 volts POWERED touch switch used for dimming lights.
I did not dig deep enough. Perhaps those who can't get to the ad page do not have a local Lowe's store nearby.

I'm trying to upgrade my bed with touch sensor light. I know about TTP223 touch sensors but these only work for one spot
My plan is to stick a long piece of conductive strip which will run from one side of the headboard to the other. The light should turn on if I touch anywhere on that stip.
There are touch sensor switches available that works with 110/220 V. But I am looking for something that can work with low voltage.

If you want to create a single long strip that responds to touch anywhere along its length, you can connect the channels together on either the MPR121 or CAP1298 to create a single detection area.

The larger the sensor area the less well it will work.
Use smaller sensors separated from each other.

 

I recommend the circuit in post #15, but using smaller areas with a touch pad, and a single wire to do the connecting, rather than one large touch pad. The reality is that pickup is proportional to total area and so limiting the total area to only the desired working location is the "simple" solution.
