Hi! I'm new to the forum, and I'm experience a problem with the identification of a capacitor from a chinese OBDII ELM327 Bluetooth reader, after I've plugged it the second time on the car the main resistor cap just burned up, I can't find any identifications on it, but is a brown multilayer ceramic capacitor that connects to the car 12V direct current pin from the one that gone bad I've try to take a measure and it gave me 1.424uF, don't know if the value makes sense for the type of circuit but the nearest that I could find was the 1.5uF 1206 but it works at 10V and the MLCC 1.5uF 2225 that works at 25V
What would be your best guess for this one? since I can't find any schematics for it.
Thanks in advance for any help!
