can one make an extremely long term power source? This by using a change of current instead of actual current. That is making a recharging feedback loop. Sort of like how an oscillator works. This using a (battery or capacitor bank) -> power inverter (output +Feedback) -> AC to DC rectifier (to recharge battery or capacitor bank)....and use a generator or solar panel as a kick starter........perpetual electricity (minus components wear and tear)

Yes. None of us here at AAC pay for electricity. We learned the secrets of perpetual energy long ago.

No. Every process that uses power including feedback processes incurs some loss. What you put back has already been taken out so there is a net loss no matter how you slice and dice things.

You can convert energy from one form to another, but the output energy in any practical system is always less than the input energy.

For all real purposes, the sun is a very long term power source, we have just not been harvesting it properly. We have begun to, but are seeing resistance from the greedy unethical utilities or oligarchs.

So I guess the TS/OP might be interested in a stellar nursery.

MOD NOTE: Thread in violation of ToS.

Perpetual motion/energy and over-unity schemes are not allowed on these forums (the greedy, unethical utilities would get their feelings hurt. :D).
